Billy also enjoys fishing, playing golf, gardening, Clemson football (boys of fall), spending time with his family and boating on Lake Greenwood.

Billy and his wife Cheryl have 5 sons, 10 grandchildren and 2 fur babies (Teddy Baer and Zoeie). Billy and Cheryl attend South Main Baptist Church. Cheryl worked in health care for 35 years before making a career change to become an Aesthetician. She currently owns Trinity Skin Care in Greenwood.

Mr. Baer achieved his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Lander University. He started his career in textiles for 16 years and was a manager in the skylight windows industry for 8.5 years, then the Lord called him to real estate in 1996. He opened his own brokerage in 2003 (Cambridge Realty). Billy is a 26 year veteran in real estate with millions of dollars in volume sold.

In 2013, Billy was honored with The Small Business Person of the Year Award, presented by the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce. He is a CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), GRI (Graduate of the Real Estate Institute) and ABR (Certified Buyer Representative) along with being the Owner and Broker In Charge of Berkshire Hathaway Cambridge Realty.
